The beauty of a good story is eye witnesses who know first hand what happened and can share that information with others. There were many witnesses to the first Christmas, Marry and Joseph were of course witnesses. The Friendly Beasts, were also considered to be witnesses. Lets not forget the SHepherds, the inn keeper, other towns people and most likely even family and friends of the shepherds.
