With very few exception if you can think of a reason for an app, you can find the app. In fact there are thousands of apps you can’t even think of the reason for. Here are a few of The UthGuy’s favorites:

Need a quick Praise Break? Try this little Gem, a brief little burst of the Hallelujah Chorus just by pressing your Hallelujah Button!

Experience the Bible in a whole new way with AcroBible for the iPhone/iPod touch. AcroBible NIV puts the entire New International Version of the Bible at your fingertips. The touchscreen interface makes it easy to navigate, browse and search the Bible. This is my favorite Sunday Morning App – I use this to follow along with my favorite preachers all the time!

Bible.is for iPhone lets you read, listen to, and share the Bible on iPhone and iPod Touch. Perfect for home, church, & on the go.

Great app for the commuter! Listen to the Word on the go!

YouVersion began as a simple and small dream to make the Bible more accessible and get the younger generation to be more Bible literate. Leaders LifeChurch.tv launched the smartphone app in 2008 with the hope that it would have 60,000 to 80,000 users over the course of a year. 10 million users later…

One of my favorite desktop apps in a great mobile app. the app enables users to create columns containing various information streams, for example Twitter replies or direct messages. In the upcoming version, users will be able to combine several streams such as Facebook feeds, Twitter direct messages, mentions and lists, which is the kind of flexibility advanced users will surely love and appreciate. ($Free)

Facebook to go – this is a great little way to take Facebook with you!

LastPass is the last password you’ll ever have to remember. Get an account free on https://lastpass.com/ using your PC/Mac machine once done you’ll have your login and password data on your PC and your iPhone/iPod Touch seamlessly synced via a Host Proof Hosting method which does not allow LastPass (or anyone else) access to your sensitive data. How important are your passwords? Think about it. All your money, your bank accounts, financial info, health info, credit cards, insurance, and everything else you need to keep private is protected by passwords. They’re not just for email, Facebook and Twitter. I use mine to store medication lists, family social security numbers, frequent shopper codes, etc.

Come back later this week for more of my favorite apps!
