For many years I have heard people tell me over and over, “You need to write that story down” or “You should put that story in a book.” My typical response is “someday maybe.” I recently was pondering on what I wanted to do when I grow up and I realized I want to do what I have been doing for years and that is to tell stories.
With that in mind, I have decided to start what I believe will be a long multi-year process of taking some time, here and there, and putting some of my stories down in writing. Here is the issue, I can never think of what stories I have told over the years would be good in a book. So while I have a few in mind I could use some help!

I have had many requests for “The Van” story and I know that one will be front and center in the book, but beyond that It all gets fuzzy.
So pray for me as I begin this journey… Don’t hide your breath for a new book anytime soon, I plan to do this in small bites here on the website and then collect them into a book. This will be done in my spare time from my current gig as Vicar at New Creation Lutheran in Shakopee, and taking classes at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. That reminds me of a story….
