Our Mission
As disciples of Christ, we seek to use the stories of Scripture and life to proclaim the works of God, and pondering what He has done, encouraging & equiping others to do the same.
It’s in the story
GodPonders was born out of a deep passion to tell the great stories of God as found in the pages of Scripture and to help the listener connect these stories to their everyday life and living.
Research is bearing out what God as always known: there is power in a good story! Our brains are wired to remember stories easier, retain them longer, and apply them with greater impact than data, facts and figures.
What We Do
Blogging
It all started with the blog “GodPonders” more than 10 years ago. Today the blog continues, and often with a printable pdf to use with your small group, staff, or class.
Speaking & Teaching
We have had the privilege of speaking to thousands of youth and adults both in this country and internationally. We speak at Conferences, retreats, and special events.
Podcasting
Through many different iterations, we have produces a series of podcasts from “UthGuy Tech” and “GodPonders” podcast to todays quasi regular “PonderingGod” podcast.
Photography
An armature photographer with a digital camera, will snap pictures of anything. Every once and a while we get a good shot that seem to connect with God’s Word.
Congregational Ministry
As a Pastor and a Pastors wife, we are both very active in congregational life at our church. This is a role and responsibility that we take very seriously and love doing.
Resources
In addition to the blog, and podcasts we have put together a few other resources, some free, some paid, from retreat guides to Bible studies, and other ministry tools.
